About the Event
It is tougher than ever for transgender, nonbinary, and other gender variant people to simply live a day-to-day existence without overwhelming anxiety and fear. This is especially true now that some government leaders are trying to legislate transgender identified people out of legal existence. Parents, siblings, grandparents, friends, teachers, clergy, or other persons who knows someone who identifies are transgender can learn how to best support the transgender individuals in their circle. The discussion will be lead by a licensed mental health clinician.
